Hi I'm Bart, I joined Mosaic in 2018, became a Partner in 2020, and transitioned to Venture Partner in mid-2025. Over my career I've sat on both sides of the founder/VC table. I was a deal team partner at Andreessen Horowitz, then founded an integrated healthcare service, taking it through its initial funding round in Silicon Valley and bringing the product to market.
What I love about my job is the learning and discovery I get from interacting with some of the smartest people in Europe. That, and being part of the long term journey of building companies to change the world around us. Right now I'm particularly focused on founders and teams advancing Machine Intelligence, Digital Health and the Future of Work.
I was born to French parents in New York City, so I've always had a passion for Europe. It's the most exciting tech ecosystem in the world, and home to many of the pioneers and rule breakers our close knit team at Mosaic loves to work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, photography and the occasional motorcycle ride.
